源码简介
此论坛程序发展于2002年，初期叫做IBF(ibforums)、(Invision Board)，后来改为IPB(Invision Power Board)、(IP.Board)，后期又改称为IPS Community Suite。
其公司名称为 IPS(Invision Power Services)。
IPB版本1.x时，为免费版本，在官方网站即可下载程序。
当时IPB 1.x版有相当多的第三方中文支持论坛，算是当年很热门的论坛程序,依稀记得2002年有个专门汉化的站和当时紫铜社区的VBB齐名。
IPB版本2.x时，官方改为付费版本，付费后才能在官方的客户区下载。
些付费消息一出，原先的第三方中文支持站陆续关站，于是IPB在中文市场占有率一路下滑。
虽然IPB 2.x版本还是陆续有新的第三方中文支持站来做，不过，总归一句，IPB论坛程序需要付费才能使用，注定了中文市场占有率为极少数！

系统需求
运行环境 Apache最佳；
内存 PHP中的内存限制不小于128MB;
想省事的话，在以下4个入口文件
/admin/install/index.php

的开头，加上：@ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘128M’);
PHP 版本5.3+，推荐使用PHP7.x;
PHP扩展 推荐启用cURL 和 Exif;
目录权限
以下五个目录的权限应为777，否则不能正常工作

安装方法
下载解压缩或直接上传zip在线解压缩
然后打开你的网址http://yourdomain.tld/admin/install进行安装
按照提示输入数据库信息和管理员信息进行安装。授权码默认的即可。

Third-Party / Developer / Designer Mode
Fixed an issue using the node form helper when not using $titleLangPrefix in the node model, and using apostrophies in a node’s title.
Fixed an issue where the wrong member’s AdminCP notification dismissals were referenced in \IPS\core\AdminNotification::notificationIdsForMember().
Fixed an issue where Nodes that do not implement permissions may still try to check them, resulting in an error in some situations.
Changes affecting third-party developers and designers
Added an ID to the mobile navigation sign in link elSigninButton_mobile.
All columns named member must now be escaped with backticks when querying the database in order to support MySQL 8.
